Accessing the Onsite Registration System:

1. Navigate to Athlete Menu:
   • From the Athlete drop-down menu, click on the Register New Participant button.
   • This will open the Onsite Registration Screen.
   • If you are using Multi-User Server, refer to the user guide for additional instructions.

Onsite Registration Screen – Features:

1. Search Functionality:

   • The system allows for predictive text searches to find athletes in the Master Athlete Database.
   • You can search by:
     • License (USA Cycling License number)
     • Last Name
     • First Name
   • When a matching athlete is found, double-click to select them and load their information into the registration screen.

2. Reset:

   • Clicking the Reset button will clear the search fields.

3. Create New Athlete:

   • If an athlete is not in the database, you can create a new athlete entry by filling out their details.

Registration Screen – Part 1: Create New Athlete

When registering an athlete, the following fields are available:

• License: Athlete’s license number (if available in the database).
• Last Name and First Name: Athlete’s name (Required).
• Bib: Bib number (if the option to assign bib numbers is not turned on, this can be left blank).
• Address Information: Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, State, Zip Code, Country, and Country Code (Optional).
• Age and Birthdate: Use either age or birthdate to determine the athlete’s category. Age is optional if birthdate is provided.
• Email Address: This is used for RaceDay to send event-related information to the athlete.
• Team: The athlete’s team name (if applicable).
• Phone Number: Athlete’s contact number.
• Emergency Contact: Name and phone number of an emergency contact.

Registration Screen – Part 2: Stage Selection

• If the event has multiple stages or days, this section allows the athlete to select the stage they wish to enter.
• Past stages are greyed out, and only available stages are shown.
• This selection is Required.

Registration Screen – Part 3: Category Selection

• Athletes choose the category they want to compete in from the available list.
• Only one category can be selected at a time.
• This selection is Required.

Finalizing Registration:

• Once all information is entered, click either Register to confirm and add the athlete or Cancel to discard the registration.
